Procedure

Add all ingredients except vegetables to a pot and bring to a boil. After mixture comes to a boil reduce to a simmer for about 10 minutes. Add vegetables for 3 min then put the hot vegetables and pickling into your sterilized jars, filling them to the very top. Cover the vegetables completely with the pickling liquid and put the lids on tightly. Put the jars aside until they're cool.

Store the jars somewhere cool and wait 2 weeks before opening so the vegetables really have a chance to marinate (although you could eat them sooner!) They'll keep for about 3 months.
